Job Description:
We are looking for a Java Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices. You will collaborate with frontend teams, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver robust, high-performance software solutions for our clients.
The ideal candidate has strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL, along with a solid understanding of REST API design and microservices architecture.
In this role, you will develop server-side logic, design and consume RESTful APIs, manage database interactions, and contribute to the full software development lifecycle. You will follow coding best practices, version control, and Agile processes.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based backend applications and microservices.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
- Design and optimize SQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Implement business logic using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and related frameworks.
- Write unit tests, debug issues, and ensure application stability and performance.
- Follow coding standards, version control (Git), and Agile development practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Agile development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and understanding of object-oriented design.
