Job Description:
We are looking for a Mobile Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of high-quality mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. You will lead a team of mobile engineers, own app architecture decisions, and collaborate with backend teams, designers, QA engineers, and product managers to deliver exceptional mobile experiences for our clients.
The ideal candidate has deep experience with Swift and Kotlin, a strong grasp of mobile architecture patterns, and a proven track record of shipping and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play while leading engineering teams in an Agile environment.
In this role, you will define technical direction, review architecture and code, mentor developers, and ensure best practices across the full mobile development lifecycle — from estimation and planning through release and ongoing support.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of native iOS and Android applications.
- Own mobile app architecture, technical design decisions, and code quality for the team.
- Mentor, guide, and review the work of mobile developers; conduct code reviews and technical feedback sessions.
- Collaborate with backend teams to define and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Drive adoption of best practices in app performance, security, offline handling, and memory management.
- Manage app releases, including App Store and Google Play submission and review processes.
- Champion CI/CD, automated testing, version control (Git), and Agile development practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders on estimation, planning, and delivery.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of experience in mobile application development, with at least 1–2 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and Kotlin; experience with Flutter or React Native is a plus.
- Proven experience with mobile architecture patterns (MVVM, MVC, Clean Architecture) and RESTful API integration.
- Hands-on experience publishing and maintaining apps on the App Store and Google Play.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, unit/UI testing frameworks, and Agile development.
- Excellent communication, mentoring, and team leadership skills.
